The Malt Library are delighted to announce the launch of an old & rare whisky club – The Librarians
Below is a preview of the ethos and philosophy of the club and what it will offer each member who chooses to become a Librarian.

The Librarians Whisky Club
The Librarians is about much more than being sent drams in the post. We want this club to become a family of old & rare whisky lovers and enthusiasts. A community that every single member would help build. A community that could last a lifetime.
Below are just some of the perks that the club will offer.

Four times a year Librarians will be sent a curated sample set of four 30ml samples.
These are special old & rare whiskies that will only be available to Librarian members.
The curated sample sets will be sent out in June, September, December and March each year.

Upon becoming a Librarian, each member will receive a personalised library card and a ghost distillery bookmark.

Each Librarian will receive an annual invitation to a very special whisky tasting that we will be hosting.

Subject to market availability we will be offering Librarians the opportunity to get involved with cask splits. With the aim of releasing an annual Librarian single cask bottling.

Librarians will receive monthly club only deals on individual drams and sample sets from The Malt Library web shop.

The Librarians is all about community. Help build the future of the club.

A portion of the proceeds raised from Librarian funds will go towards funding historic plaques at the sites of lost distilleries all over Scotland.
Working with the relevant local authorities we believe this is a scheme that will truly leave a timeless legacy for these lost distilleries, the people who worked at them, the communities that supported them and the Librarian members who have helped fund them. Ensuring that these lost distilleries are remembered forever.
Please note: The Librarians won’t replace or change any of the day-to-day running of The Malt Library and we will still continue to consistently offer a very wide variety of old & rare whisky samples for the general public.
