White Horse 1970s Fine Old Scotch Duty Free
We suspect that this version of the blend contains lots of Lagavulin, Glen Elgin, Craigallachie and Port Dundas, given that White Horse’s history during the 1970s is synonymous with these distilleries.
Please Note: The bottle does not have an abv stated on it although we suspect it was bottled at 80/86 proof (40-43% abv).
Our Tasting Notes:
Nose: Polished wood. Dry cherries. Discarded citrus peels. Gentle smoke.
Palate: Seville marmalade. Old tobacco. Star anise. Toasted coconut. Melon.
Finish: Re-emergence of orange. Walnuts. Slightly tannic.
