This 10 year old Tullibardine was distilled in 2007 and bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of their The Un-Chillfiltered Collection in 2018.
Distilled on the 7th June 2007 and bottled on the 5th March 2018.
The release was a vatting of two ex-bourbon barrels (cask numbers: 800115 + 800117) and was bottled at 46% abv.
Our Tasting Notes:
Nose: Bruised red apples. Victoria sponge cake. Raisins. Rubber bands.
Palate: Rhubarb. Custard creams. Liquid caramel. Dry earth.
Finish: Dates. Oak spice. Warming vanilla notes.
Tullibardine Distillery – Active
Built in 1949 (though alcohol production in Blackford dates back to 1488), Tullibardine distillery is situated just inside the Highland boarder in the town of Blackford. For most of its history Tullibardine has existed predominantly for blending purposes. However, thankfully in recent years there has been much more of an emphasis on developing a successful single malt brand.
