This is an 11 year old Tormore Single Cask 1989 Vintage, that was bottled in 2001 by Signatory Vintage.
The whisky was distilled on the 11th May 1989 before being matured in a single Refill Sherry Butt (Cask No: 920260) for 11 years, and was then bottled on the 20th February 2001.
The whisky is 43% abv.

Nose: Crème Brûlée. Poached pear. Incense. Parma violets.
Palate: Figs. Eucalyptus. Apple chutney. Herb gardens. Condensed milk.
Finish: Green chilli. Raspberry seeds. Cumin.

Founded in 1958, Tormore distillery resides in the heart of Speyside and is certainly one of the most architecturally impressive distilleries in all of Scotland. In fact only 28 years after the distillery was built it was granted’ listed building’ status in 1986.
The vast majority of Tormore distillate is produced for blends such as Chivas and Long John, however it really shines when bottled as a single malt and is known for its delicate pear and melon notes.
