This is a St Magdalene 1982 Vintage, that was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2001 as part of their Rare Old selection. This liquid was distilled just one year before St Magdalene closed for good in 1983.
Our Tasting Notes:
Nose: Cherry blossom. Panna cotta. Pear tarte tatin. Hay stack. Waxy fruits. Loose leaf tea.
Palate: Orange peel oils. Green bananas. Damp earth. Lemon verbena. Biscoff. Elegant herbal notes present.
Finish: Green fruits. Soft, delicate oak. Continuing herbal profile.
