Our Tasting Notes:
Glen Albyn 1968 Vintage:
Nose: Cinnamon sticks. Dried apricots. Pumpkin seeds. Pistachios.
Palate: Pomegranate. Fennel. Rooibos tea. Roasted chestnuts. Sunflower seeds. Prunes.
Finish: Lemon slice in black tea. Plums. Gentle liquorice. Like licking an old leather bound book
Millburn 1972 Vintage:
Nose: Chimney soot. Dusty cupboards. Grilled pineapples. Extra virgin olive oil.
Palate: Seville marmalade. Gentle liquorice. Barley sugars. Liquid smoke. Hazelnuts. Slightly bitter oak.
Finish: Soft caramel. Kiss of spice. Honey crumpets.

Glen Mhor 1980 Vintage:
Nose: A carnival of spice and funk. Humidor. Dry orange rinds. Mint (in the background). Husky. Juicy sultanas.
Palate: Oak spice for days. Meaty. Canned peaches. Vanilla pods. Dry oak. Old, tired leather. Touch of smoke.
Finish: Re-emergence of oak. Further orange notes (zest this time). Sweet malts. Prunes.
