Ledaig 2008 Signatory Vintage – 30ml

£8.00

This is a 2008 vintage 7 year old Ledaig bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of their The Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

The whisky was distilled on the 26th March 2008 and bottled on the 26th November 2015.

This release was a vatting of two Hogsheads (cask numbers: 700544 + 700548) and was bottled at 46% abv.

Our Tasting Notes:

Nose: Wet marshlands. Damp peat. The inside of an old tractor. Honey roasted peanuts. Swimming pool changing room.

Palate: Minerals. Old bubblegum. Gentle coastal breeze. Olive oil. Sweetcorn.

Finish: Walnuts. Sponge cake. Sea shells.

Tobermory Distillery – Active

Founded in 1798 on the Isle of Mull, Tobermory distillery was initially named Ledaig. These days however, Ledaig is the brand name for heavily peated Tobermory.

Ledaig is peated at a between 35-40ppm.

We are BIG fans of Ledaig so expect to see a lot of bottles featured on The Malt Library.
