Ledaig 2000s – 30ml

£8.00

This is an unusual early 2000s official bottling of Ledaig. We estimate that this was bottled in 2005.

It was bottled at a rather unusual 42% abv.

Our Tasting Notes:

Nose: Faint lavender. Lemongrass. Wet straw. Sea air. Distant smoke.

Palate: Herbaceous. Sweet honey. Soft grape skins. Wet oak. Touch of salt.

Finish: Vegetal. Waxed citrus. Peat. Bitter wood.

Ledaig Distillery – Active

Founded in 1798 on the Isle of Mull, Tobermory distillery was initially named Ledaig. These days however, Ledaig is the brand name for heavily peated Tobermory.

Ledaig is peated at a between 35-40ppm.

We are BIG fans of Ledaig so expect to see a lot of bottles featured on The Malt Library.
