This is an Inverleven 1985 vintage bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 1998 as part of their distillery labels range. Inverleven distilled was closed in 1991.
Inverleven distillery operated from 1938 until 1991 inside the Dumbarton whisky complex and was the primary malt whisky distillery housed within the Dumbarton whisky complex (the other being Lomond distillery, that produced whisky on a Lomond still from 1956 until 1985).
The whisky was bottled at 40%.

Palate: Melons. Leathery apricots.Salted porridge. Hazelnuts. Mead. Pine nuts. Slightly overcooked custard.
Finish: Earthy grass. Pepper. Rice pudding. Further biscuit notes.
