The whisky was distilled on the 11th October 1985 and was then bottled on the 17th October 1996. And was bottled at 43%.
This bottling by Signatory Vintage is one of just three known GlenAllachie 1985 Vintages to exist.

Nose: Peach rings. Pineapple juice. Bone dry oak. Perfume. Sandalwood. Sweet potato skins. Matchboxes.
Palate: Shaved ginger. Aniseed. Black tea. Dried lavender. Rice pudding. Brown toast.
Finish: Almonds. Porridge. Sage. Lemon zest. Dry oak.
A vast different dram to modern Glenallachie and one that really leans into a rustic, untamed and farmyard profile despite the lower abv.
