This whisky was matured for 10 years in a single bourbon hogshead before being bottled in February 2000 at a natural cask strength of 61%.

Nose: Powerful wax – sniffing 10 candles at the same time. Apple crumble. Buttered sourdough. Seeded jam. Pear skins. Shaved ginger. Emerging citrus.
Palate: Dried apricots. Marzipan. Kumquats. Velvety caramel. Yellow fruits. Sweet malt.Tasting the air in an old shed. Burning embers.
Finish: Sugar cookies. Warming vanilla. Cigar ash.
