This 2014 Vintage Single Cask Caol Ila was bottled by German independent bottler Rolf Kaspar as part of their Black Corbie series.
The whisky was matured for 6 years in a Ex-Bourbon Hogshead and was bottled in 2020 at a whopping 61.6% abv. The release was limited to 312 bottles.

Nose: Rockpools. Hazelnuts. Kiwi skins. Matchbox. Dry earth. Vanilla pods.
Palate: Salty fishing rope. Intense but pleasant smoke. Alternating salt and spice notes. Cake batter. Oyster shells. Sage.
Finish: Further clean smoke with lemon rinds, minerals and dry oak to finish.
