This is a Braeval 1996 vintage 8 year old single cask bottling by Douglas McGibbon as part of their McGibbon’s Provenance range.
Distilled in Autumn 1996 this was matured for 8 years in a single sherry cask (cask no. DMG 1580) before being bottled in Winter 2004.
This was bottled at 46% vol.

Nose: Dried papaya. Copper coins. Candle wicks. Hay bales. Grilled pineapple. Sugar puffs.
Palate: Mango slices. Sweet malt. Hedgerows. Star anise. Steamed coffee. Gentle tannins.
Finish: Coffee beans. Mince pies. Cinnamon. Dried red fruits.
