A fun old relic this is a 1970s bottling of the Ambassador 12 year old blend produced by Taylor & Ferguson.
First introduced in the late 1940s for the American market, Ambassador is now a long discontinued export blend. This particular bottling was produced for Italy and is believed to contain 1960s distilled malts from both the Glen Scotia and Scapa distilleries.
This was bottled at 43% (a.k.a export strength).
