Glen Ord 1996 Vintage, 19 Year Old: Blackadder Raw Cask
This is a 1996 vintage, 19 year old Glen Ord and was bottled by Blackadder as part of their iconic Raw Cask series.
The whisky was distilled on the 7th March 1996 and was bottled in September 2015 at a cask strength of 53.9% abv. This single cask release was limited to just 278 bottles (this is bottle number 5).
Every Blackadder Raw Cask release presents each whisky in its purest form – containing natural and unfiltered cask sediment, oils and fats.
*Each of our samples will contain cask sediment from this bottle.
Our Tasting Notes:
Nose: Forest floor. Daim bars. Thyme. Green apples. Lemongrass.
Palate: Honeycomb. Pine needles. Gentle oak presence. Earthy. Quite a silky mouthfeel overall.
Finish: Herbaceous finish with additional notes of pear and orange oils.
Miltonduff – 1996 Vintage, 10 Year Old
This is a 1996 Vintage, 10 Year Old Cask Strength Miltonduff that was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2007 at 60.9% abv.
Distilled on the 24th June 1996 this bottling is a marriage of two refill sherry butts and was bottled on the 16th May 2007.

Nose: Turkish delight. Diesel fumes. Pineapple chunks. A musty rug.
Palate: Mango chutney. Tamarind. New leather. Spicy mince pies.
Finish: Long & dry finish. Shaved dark chocolate. Fiery ginger. Prunes.
Glen Keith 1996 Vintage, Connoisseurs Choice
This is a 1996 Vintage Glen Keith that was bottled in 2013 by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their legendary Connoisseurs Choice range.
This Glen Keith was matured in Refill Sherry Hogsheads.
The whisky was bottled at 46% abv.

Nose: Old carpet funk. Dry oak. Vintage perfume dispenser. Sandalwood.
Palate: Candied walnuts. Tangerines. Shaved ginger. Fig relish.
Finish: Cloves. Cinnamon. Dry sherry to finish.
